This episode is to help everybody understand what area agencies on aging do all across the country and your state.
I talk with Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging's Communications Manager Steve Centofanti.
COAAA is one of twelve area agencies on aging in the state of Ohio, and one of more than 650 area agencies on aging in the United States.

COAAA arranges and coordinates non-medical in-home services that help with daily living, such as homemaking, personal care, transportation, home-delivered meals, emergency response, minor home modification, skilled nursing.
COAAA has licensed social workers and registered nurses who are care coordinators, are care managers. They connect individuals who need help in the home to area service providers who provide those services, such as transportation, as providing home-delivered meals, and homemaking and personal care.
